Pip Mattiske is the newly appointed Station Manager at 2oceansFM.

Pip started her radio career as a news cadet at 6PR, after graduating from the Media Performance course at WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts).

Pip was a newsreader and Journalist at 6PR and 96FM for a few years before working as Howard Sattlers Producer on his Morning talkback and current affairs programme.

Pip then spent some time overseas and in London where she worked as a producer at MTV and VH1 television.

On her return she moved to Sydney where she was appointed as a producer on  Foxtel Channels, Arena, working primarily on The Hub, an entertainment show hosted by Amanda Keller.

She then set up her own production company and made a documentary following Australian band Savage Garden on tour.

Pip has worked on many other productions including Big Brother and My Restaurant Rules.

In early 2003 she took time out from her media career to live in Bali with her partner Tim, what was to be a year long break, ended up being 8 years.

About 5 years ago they moved to Margaret River with their two children.

After a long break from working in and even absorbing any media Pip loved being able to tune in to radio again.

“I have always loved the immediacy and intimacy of radio and I’m thrilled to have come full circle back to the medium I started in.”

“I’m looking forward to helping 2oceansFM radio reach its full potential”
